Fayla's Fabulous Food Calendar

(Recipe from my mom, the best meatloaf ever!!)

Meat Loaf

3 lbs. hamburger
1 c. crackers
1 c. oatmeal
3 eggs
2 t. chili powder
2 t. salt
1/2 pepper
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 c. chopped onion

Sauce to pour on the top of the meatloaf after you have put the meat mixture in the pan:
2 c. catsup
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. liquid smoke (I use more) eyeball it.....
1/2 t. garlic powder

Combine everything and put in a baking dish. Make sauce in a bowl, stir really well and pour on top of the meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
