Fayla's Fabulous Food Calendar

Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2 # Ground Beef
½ cup of crackers, smashed
½ cup of oatmeal
1 egg
1 can evaporated milk
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ cup chopped onion

Mix well with your (clean) hands and put in a casserole baking dish.

Sauce for the top:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic powder
Stir well. Pour over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
